As long as what they need is at home, they always have it available during our time together. This means if you need to get a textbook, you can get it within the online session. If you left your books at home as might be the case if you were to have in-person lessons at a library, it would be hard to continue the lesson effectively.

Screen sharing via Skype/Zoom allows students to be so flexible with how they work on documents, allowing either one the student or tutor to share documents easily with each other! Our tutors even make use of interactive online whiteboards (effectively an in-person whiteboard but on the student’s screen) to scribe down equations and more!

As the lesson occurs, your tutor will write down notes in the notes column in Skype or Zoom. This is so useful, as the notes remain there after the lesson, meaning that students can log in to their Skype/Zoom account and use them for homework any time they like.
